When and How to Check in?
Check-in procedures can be done at the counters or kiosks at the airport. THY online check-in processes start 24 hours before the flight departure time and end 90 minutes before departure. A maximum of 8 passengers in the same reservation record (PNR) can check in online. Online check-in can be done via the company's website or mobile application.
How Much is the Baggage Allowance?
On domestic and international flights, there is a 15 kg baggage allowance per passenger on promotional tickets, 20 kg in economy class, and 30 kg in business class. For infant passengers between the ages of 0-2, there is a 10 kg baggage allowance and 1 baby stroller or pushchair. On flights to the USA and abroad, baggage allowances may be flexible for some countries. If you have excess baggage beyond the allowed dimensions, you can purchase an additional 15 kg on promotional tickets, an additional 20 kg in economy class, and business passengers can purchase up to 30 kg of extra baggage. For all classes, extra baggage can be purchased for 105 TL per kg on flights within Turkey and between €6 and €30 per kg on international flights. The hand baggage allowance is limited to 8 kg per passenger. On all flights, the maximum weight of a single piece of baggage must be 32 kg. Baggage weighing more than 32 kg is not accepted on the plane as a single piece.
