Confirmation of your reservation and receipt of payment
Our reservations are confirmed directly using the e-mail address you provided when booking. If the car is rented through autorent4you partners, it may be necessary to wait for the car rental company to confirm that the car is available for hire. As soon as the car rental company confirms that your car is available for hire, we will let you know and take the payment from your card.
You can 'cancel' the payment at any time until it is confirmed that your vehicle is available for hire. To do this, click on the 'Manage reservation' menu at the top of our site, enter the email address and reservation number you provided when making the reservation, and then click the 'Cancel Reservation' button. In this case, your card will be unblocked for payment.
In very rare cases, the partner car rental company may not be able to confirm that the car is available for hire. In this case, you will be notified by e-mail and your card will be blocked for payment.

Fuel and Deposits at the Car Rental Desk
Autorent4you and its partners require a deposit at the start of the rental period to cover the excess liability, expenses incurred during the rental and, in some cases, fuel fees. You usually need to have a valid credit card with sufficient balance to pay the deposit. The card must be issued to the main driver's name. Please note that not all car rental companies accept all types of credit cards, and you should check the "Important Information" section when booking and/or signing your car rental agreement to confirm which card types are accepted. If you still have questions, please contact us.
This deposit will be refunded to you upon delivery of the vehicle, provided that the vehicle and extras are returned in the condition they were hired and in accordance with the fuel policy (please note that it may take up to 30 days for the amount to appear on your credit card again).
Some car rental companies require you to return the car with the same amount of fuel that was in the car's tank at the time of delivery. Others have a fuel policy that requires you to purchase a tank of gas so you can return the vehicle with an empty tank and no refunds for unused fuel.

No liability is accepted by Autorent4you in cases where service is not provided outside of working hours. Car rental counters outside the airport may also offer out-of-hours service.
